Bulbul Jugnu was founded on a single conviction: that the tradition of hand embroidery in Pakistan is not a relic of the past. It is a living art. It deserves to be worn, celebrated, and sustained.
The brand began in a small studio in Lahore's old city, with two artisans and a founder who had grown up watching her grandmother embroider. It has since grown into a house of twelve artisans, four seasonal collections, and customers across Pakistan, the UK, Canada, and the UAE.
I want every woman who wears Bulbul Jugnu to feel that she is wearing something that was made specifically for her — even if she never commissioned it. That is what hand embroidery does. It is personal.
